Slowdown Aesthetic

Be very careful of when you slowdown (during the weight change).

Let’s make 2 clear distinctions:

  • If you slow down when the free foot is about to touch the ground, it looks SHY or like you don’t know where you’re going.
  • If you slow down when the free foot is about to leave the ground, you look like a cat about to POUNCE.

The idea is slowing down to look like you’re going to strike, vs slowing down and looking like you’re afraid/hesitant to move.

Both are not wrong…both can feel incredible and also look musical. The idea is to make sure you’re picking the right look you actually want.
