- Reach your head into the sky as high as you can. Keep it there no matter what the movement. Most dancers’ heads will hunch down when they walk forward and/or do a pivot.
- Hips over the arch of your feet.
- Shoulders over your hips, and JUST TO BE SAFE, I recommend slightly in front of your hips.
- While reaching your head over the sky, keep your chest over your toes but your hips over the arch of your feet or even over your heels.
- Both shoulders and elbows at the same level (as best as you can).
- Embrace (hug) your partner with the roundest warmest hug that can, while keep your shoulders spread apart.
